Merlot Braised Short Ribs with Smashed Chevre Sweet Potatoes

I have the ultimate comfort food recipe for you today. I had honestly never eaten short ribs until I made this recipe, and my mind was blown. They are falling off the bone, melt in your mouth good. And there's wine involved, so it's a win-win. 

This is another recipe that I partnered up with Sweet Cheeks Winery to create. I used their Merlot to braise the short ribs and pair with the meal. I am slowly starting to like red wine more and more, and I feel like a proper adult while drinking it. #adulting at it's finest, because it should always involve wine right? Ha!

This is the perfect Sunday night dinner, so cozy and leftovers on Monday will be the best thing to start your week. It was a simple meal to make since most of the work is done in the oven, but still impressive nonetheless. It's hard to convey in these pictures how incredible this tasted, but it's essentially a big hug in a bowl. Perfection.
