Red Wine Roasted Mushroom Crostini

It's Friday (finally), we have all made it through the week and deserve a glass of wine. Or three. Whatever. Am I right, or am I right?

I have an appetizer recipe today, and I used the Sweet Cheeks Pinot Noir. Which is so, so good. And this is coming from someone who thought they didn't like red wine. You use a bit of the wine to roast the mushrooms, and then fill up your glasses. It's really easy to whip up, but it looks like a lot of effort and time was put in.

If you can get your hands on a bottle of this Pinot Noir you will not regret it. It has cherry and floral flavors, I am no wine expert, but it is heavenly. I loved it with these cute little crostini bites. Chewy baguette, fluffy ricotta and goat cheese, and mushrooms that take on amazing flavor while roasting. You can't go wrong with this.
