What are your New Year's resolutions?
I am going for the totally basic working out more, eating better blah, blah, blah. I am also going to try out a bullet journal since it seems to be all the rage, I write down just about everything and it would be nice to have it all in one place. I actually worked out yesterday too, now there are places on my body that are so sore and I didn't know muscles existed there.
And don't worry, this blog isn't going to turn into a "OMG IT'S SO CLEAN AND PALEO but it actually tastes like garbage" sort of blog. There's just going to be a little more balance in my daily life, and I am going to incorporate some healthy but creative recipes into the blog. Along with some indulgent ones, I can't help myself.
This is not my recipe, but it was too good not to share. I got it out of the Skinnytaste cookbook, which was written by Gina over at skinnytaste.com, and she is a genius. The only thing I added was a bit of smoked paprika. This soup is super creamy and it has BACON. And CHEESE. But there's only has roughly 200 calories per one cup. Yeah.
Cauliflower is the secret ingredient here, so you are also working in some veggies to this soup. It's a win-win.
The cauliflower basically cancels out the cheese and bacon right? Right.
