Bailey's and Chocolate Chunk Brioche Bread Pudding

Currently: eating a warm piece of this bread pudding. Gah.

Bailey's and chocolate, how can you go wrong with that?

This brioche was going to be used for french toast, but then I just...didn't make it. *Sigh*. So it got a little stale, but that is perfect for bread pudding. I will eventually make the french toast recipe I have thought up, soon. Ha.

Percy is always trying to eat EVERYTHING. Little piggy. He is obsessed with tortilla chips, I don't get it. And do you see those brown butter bits in that pan? Oh yes. I actually melted the butter in the pan while the oven is preheating. Best shortcut ever.

The almonds add a nice crunch too. I actually got the base of this recipe from Smitten Kitchen's pumpkin bread pudding. And that was what I was originally going to make...but I added Bailey's to my morning coffee, and thought why not add it to the bread pudding too? Let's add Bailey's to everything!

I left out the pumpkin because I have been going a little crazy with pumpkin lately. See here, here and here. Oops.

Also, is bread pudding a dessert? Breakfast? Snack? This is a serious life question.
