Teriyaki Chicken and Pineapple Pizza

Pizza is my idea of the perfect comfort food. Cheese, and carbs, and more cheeeese.

I marinated the chicken thighs in the teriyaki sauce for a couple hours. If you are making your own pizza dough, let the chicken marinate while it rises. I had dough stashed away in the freezer from this pizza, so I just used that.

The thighs are baked, and then shredded. I loved all of the sesame seeds in the teriyaki sauce I used. If yours doesn't have any, I suggest adding some. You could use chicken breasts here. I like using thighs because they stay nice and juicy after baking once in the sauce, and again on the pizza.

The pizza has a layer of teriyaki sauce on the dough, then fontina, pineapple and chicken, and more fontina! Don't skimp on the toppings guys.

Bake until the crust is golden, and the cheese is bubbling. Then top with sliced green onions. So. Freaking. Good.
